Mosbach's citizens are trained as health ambassadors!

Mosbach, Deutschland - In Mosbach, a new chapter in health education is opened. The city starts a promising project to mobilize the population in order to actively promote and spread health issues. The opportunity to be trained as a health ambassador: committed citizens are opened. It is to be achieved that people from different areas of life, be it in the club, at the workplace or in the circle of friends, can pass on knowledge about health. The project is part of the comprehensive Municipal Health Managements Mosbach , which is implemented under the leadership of Eco-Partner GmbH. The project duration extends from January 2025 to December 2026, with the IKK Classic promoting the initiative 100 %. The implementation takes place in several phases, which include analysis and strategy development as well as the qualification of health ambassadors: inside. The preliminary steps include the creation of a prevention matrix, which should serve as a recommendation for action for the city.

A highlight of the project is the kick -off event, which took place on June 4, 2025 to set the first impulses for a healthier city. But that is only the beginning: the health ambassadors: inside, in various living environments such as daycare centers, schools, senior institutions and companies, are actively involved in health promotion. This contributes to strengthening the networking of health processes and developing measures in line with needs.

The training is aimed at all interested citizens from the age of 18, regardless of professional background or previous knowledge. A maximum of 15 participants can register for the training. The regular meetings in moderated working groups after the training should further support the exchange and implementation of health goals.
