Large deployment in Boxberg: Police tackle Reichsbürger scene!

Boxberg, Baden-Württemberg, Deutschland - on Tuesday morning, around 6:00 a.m., Boxberg-Bobstadt became the scene of a large-scale police operation. The Heilbronn police headquarters, supported by the police headquarters and the Baden-Württemberg State Criminal Police Office, had the task of enforcing several arrest warrants from the Mosbach Regional Court. The situation was dangerous, and the police had to rely on a quick action after their previous attempts to move the people they were looking for to volunteer for their own self -employment.

The officials managed to resist a 27-year-old man after an escape attempt in Marktstrasse in Schweigern without resistance. In addition, two women aged 24 and 51 and a 25-year-old man were arrested in a property in Bobstadter Eckstrasse, also without special resistance. These arrests are in direct connection with the allegations of the hunting status, which led to the search for the rooms.

dangerous finds

In the search, various objects relevant to weapons were ensured. There was a gunshot gun and ammunition under the finds. This is a serious matter, since the people arrested are presumably belonging to the so-called Reich Citizens' scene. This development highlights the growing problem of this scene: According to the protection of the constitution, around 26,000 people of this movement were assigned in 2024, of which 1,400 were classified as right -wing extremists.

The situation is less comfortable than it sounds. In 2024, a total of 774 extremist crimes were attributed to the scene, including 105 acts of violence. In view of these figures, it becomes clear that the police must be attentive in the region.

look into the future

The people arrested were brought before the criminal chamber at the Mosbach district court and brought in in correctional facilities. The first court appointments are scheduled for the end of July 2025. Here it will be shown here which consequences the incidents result in. In particular, the violations of the Weapons Act and the War Weapons Control Act are the focus of the investigation.

The deployment in Boxberg is a further proof that the authorities act against extremism and possible acts of violence. The knowledge of the past few years underlines the need for such measures: By the end of 2024, 1,300 "Reich citizens" alone had been withdrawn from weapons law permits. We can be excited to see how this topic is developing.

In summary, it should be noted: The assignment in Boxberg has raised numerous questions and shows that the dangers that emerge from the Reich Citizens' scene must be taken seriously. The cooperation between the different police authorities could prove to be crucial to counteract future threats.
