Harmonious annual general meeting of the TSG Öhringen inspires members

in Öhringen, where TSG Öhringen 1848 e.V. is based, the focus is on sport and community. At the latest annual general meeting, TSG, a traditional sports club with over 3,200 members, was able to look back on a harmonious year. This meeting, which not only served to check the finances, but also to choose new board members, was a successful meeting between old and young. Club president Peter Gebert presented the success of the past year and encouraged the members to actively participate.

The TSG Öhringen was founded in 1848 and has undergone impressive development over the years. The merger of the Öhringen men's gymnastics club and the Hohenloher sports club in 1933 laid the foundation for one of the most versatile sports clubs in Baden-Württemberg. The TSG currently offers numerous departments, including football, handball, basketball and more. Your venue, the Otto Master Stadium, has space for 1000 spectators and is a busy place for sporting events.

The TSG soccer team is active in the Landesliga Württemberg and is currently playing for top positions. In the 2024/25 season, the team achieved 1st place in the district league in Franconia, which marked an excellent upward trend. Historically, the association became masters in various leagues after the Second World War and completed various ascent and descents that demonstrate the liveliness of the association. In 2008/09 the team secured the championship in the district league and rose.

There is also a lot going on in the handball department. This merged with TSV Pfedelbach to the HSG Hohenlohe in 2012, which strengthens the focus on the joint development and continued existence of handball in the region.
