Full closure in Neckarsulm: B27 and K2000 affected - diversions set up!

In the Heilbronn area, drivers will face a major challenge next Saturday, July 26th. As voice.de , the federal road 27 (b27) and the district road 2000 (K2000) are at Neckarsulm fully blocked from 3:30 p.m. to around 8 p.m. The reason for this is laying work of power cables, which are carried out above the K2000, the tracks of Deutsche Bahn and the B27.

Due to the safety regulations, a separate blocking is not possible, which does not make the situation easier for road users. Specifically, this means that the B27 is tight between the Kochendorf-Süd descent and the Neckarsulm Aral petrol station. In addition, the K2000 is blocked in the area between the Bergrat-Bilfinger-Straße and North Tangent Neckarsulm. Drivers in the direction of Jagstfeld should use the Kochendorf-Süd exit to get to the record forest. A detour route has already been determined and signposted so that the traffic can continue to flow as well as possible. The passage at the Hasenmühle on the K2000 is also closed.

renovation work in the region

The temporary blocking is part of larger renovation work that has been going on since the beginning of May. As the city of Bietigheim-Bissingen reports on its website, the work on the B27 started on May 5, 2025. In this context, severe impairments of traffic, traffic jams and longer travel times can be expected.

Since June 22, 2025, the L1125 between Großsachsenheim and Bietigheim-Bissingen has also been completely closed. The block affects the section from the intersection Industriestraße/L1125 to the intersection L1125/K1636 (Kayhstraße). The construction work is divided into different phases, whereby the first phase is currently active in which traffic is only led on one lane.

detours and restrictions

Several diversions are necessary during the construction work. The road users from the B27 and the L1125 can switch to Asperger Straße from Industriestrasse to get back to the B27. In addition, a one-way regulation applies to Asperger and Etzelstrasse, which can only be accessed out of the city. The Avia petrol station will also be accessible via Asperger Straße, while the building on Stuttgarter Straße will no longer be reached directly from the B27 in the future.

The city administration recommends that all road users inform themselves about the current traffic situation and to plan alternative routes at an early stage. For more information and current updates, the official websites of the city of Bietigheim-Bissingen and other relevant places are recommended to always stay up to date.
