Next Monday at 7 p.m., the BUND of German architects (BDA) invites you to a discussion evening in the . Under the title "The city in the renovation - a new culture of enabling" it will be about the design options for existing buildings such as office complexes, department stores and parking garages. Prominent voices will have their say from the architectural scene.

The alternating room, the seat of the BDA in Baden-Württemberg since 2005, acts not only as an event location, but also as a lively meeting point for architects. The room is characterized by its striking, all -round wallpaper wall and the characteristic center supports, which have already housed many exciting discussions and exhibitions. At the event, Leona Lynen (BERKONARGE Berlin), Tim Panzer (Demo Working Group, Cologne) and Dennis Ewert (Ensemble+Architecture, Mannheim) will discuss an exquisite team of experts. Topics will be the necessary cooperation between administration, architecture and civil society as well as the importance of open planning processes. Moderator Carolin Lahod from the city gaps will lead the discussion and ensure that everyone can bring in their voice.

But not only in the established architecture there is a lot of movement. At the Stuttgart University of Technology (HFT), the Master's course urban planning is offered a practical training. Here students are trained by Professor: Interior and lecturers from practice, while they work closely together with planning and architecture firms as well as urban planning offices.

The course extends via modules with 120 credit points and offers graduate: inside the opportunity to establish itself as a urban planner: in different areas. With this well-founded training, the students not only meet the prerequisites for the entry in the city planner list of the Baden-Württemberg Chamber of Architects, but can also start in the higher construction management service.
