Waiblingen, Deutschland - In Waiblingen, an inspiring Mustmacher seminar recently took place under the motto "Nice that you exist" for students from the Salier Realschule. Organized by My brave Weg , a start-up that has been actively working since 2018 to help young people have been developing their potential, the seminar was all about self-discovering and professional orientation.

The goal was clear: the students should be motivated to recognize their own strengths and to develop an idea of their dream job. Over 120 students had the opportunity to take part in this half -day workshop. The event was supported by the Volksbank Stuttgart and the Employment Agency, which ensured financing and enabled the Volksbank trainees to report on their experiences.

The course of the seminar was tailored to the needs of young people. First, all participants received a workbook that accompanied them through the day. They were able to immortalize themselves on a selfie photo band with motivating cards such as "#macher" and "Dreamteam". Patrick Piel and Lilly Lemke, the two trainers of the seminar, led through various interactive exercises to strengthen the students' self -confidence. "It is important to know that you are unique. Nice that you exist," said Piel, who has been working in the seminar management for six years.

The students were suggested to name their top 3 strengths. It quickly came to light that only nine of them actually knew their strengths, which illustrates how important such workshops are. The aim was to create self -image and clarity about your own skills.

But what does a dream job actually make? The students examined this question in detail. Criteria such as money, fun and flexibility were discussed, but only five among them were of the opinion that they could achieve all of this in a profession. The importance of self -confidence was also discussed. Patrick Piel emphasized how important it is to recognize negative messages and not be discouraged. In this context, the distribution of "Nice that you exist" cards used to encourage classmates.

A concrete example that gave the speakers for the best came from a student who courageously followed his dream. "It is often a rocky way, but the courage to pursue your own dreams pays off," Piel motivated the participants to find their own way, even if that takes time.
