In the district of Ludwigsburg, the weekend from June 21 to 22, 2025 is all about agriculture. At the popular "Glass Production" event, interested people get exciting insights into regional agriculture and animal husbandry. On Saturday, June 21st, the event starts with a stable tour in the Milch cattle stable of the Geiger family in Bietigheim-Bissingen. Between 2:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m., the participants can learn everything about modern animal husbandry, milk production and calf growing. The Sunday, June 22nd, is under the motto "Wine enjoyment on the Bächle". Between 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., visitors have the opportunity to try out wines and wine cocktails with Jule Mayr in Sachsenheim-Ochsenbach. On Wednesday, June 25th, a management will follow on the Hagenlocher farm in Ditzingen. Between 5:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., the participants under the direction of Frank Hagenlocher can learn more about ecological agriculture. Already at the beginning of the month there was a culinary highlight in the district: the strawberry and asparagus festival, which took place from June 8th to June 9th.
