Next Saturday, June 28th, the big anniversary celebration will be scheduled at 10 a.m. The opening on the festival stage is transported by Transport Minister Winfried Hermann, Mayor Frank Dehmer and Dr. Clarissa Freundorfer from Deutsche Bahn AG accompanied. The event is musically supported by the Stadtkapelle Geislingen, which will provide the right atmosphere.

A very special moment will be the symbolic train baptism of a Mex 16, which is given the name "Geislingen an der Steige". This baptism is not only a tradition, but also the first of an Arverio railcar in Baden-Württemberg. The godparents, including Transport Minister Hermann, whether Dehmer and Arverio Managing Director Fabian Amini, use water from the historic fountain of the Knoll monument.
