New Porsche Center in Filderstadt: groundbreaking for the future!
Filderstadt, Deutschland - In Filderstadt, the groundbreaking ceremony for a new Porsche center has taken place today, which will give the local car dealer scene fresh wind. The construction of a modern car dealership on a property of around 9,300 square meters, which is larger than a classic soccer field, not only promises a modern sales room, but also an innovative range of services. The starting signal for this exciting project was given by important personalities such as Christian Schuder from the Porsche branch Stuttgart and Robert Ader of Porsche Germany, supported by other representatives from the automotive industry and the city administration, such as Eva-Maria Jörg from Filderstadt and Sebastian Neuberg from Volkswagen Immobilien.
The new car dealership will have a gross area of more than 5,000 square meters and built in the two -storey Porsche design. A spacious exhibition area, sales and service areas as well as a modern workshop with warehouse and car wash are housed on the ground floor. In the upper gallery store, office and social spaces are planned that will offer 58 modern jobs, which means that the region can also benefit in the field of employment.
sustainability is the focus
The sustainable construction and energy concepts of the new Porsche center should be particularly emphasized. Instead of fossil fuels, a reversible air-water heat pump is used for heating and cooling, whereby the electricity requirement is partially covered by a photovoltaic system on the green roof. With a planned output of around 225 kWp, the solar energy will help improve the environmental balance of the company. In addition, a partial greening of facade is implemented.The outdoor area of the car dealership is equipped with 41 parking spaces and 14 charging stations that offer a charging capacity of up to 400 kW-a step towards electromobility and environmentally friendly cars. A separate deposit building is also built for the storage of vehicles, which offers space for 171 vehicles.
project details and outlook
The client and investor Volkswagen Immobilien will realize the project on behalf of Porsche Germany. Cruu Architecture GmbH from Stuttgart takes over the entire planning, while the construction work is carried out by Glass GmbH Bauunternehmung from Mindelheim. The completion of the new Porsche center is planned for autumn 2026, which marks the opening of another important location for Porsche in the region. This is the second dealer property on behalf of the Porsche branch in Stuttgart, and a center on the Pragsattel was previously opened.
