The city of Esslingen is in full swing when it comes to improving mobility. This brought a pleasant feedback from almost 2,800 participants, which submitted a total of around 700 suggestions for foot and bike traffic. Some of the suggestions have already found their place in the defined network plans for foot and bike traffic, which are also available online. The city team plans to further expand the citizen participation by integrating the citizens' committees as well as various associations and organizations of foot and cycling. The next opportunity for feedback offers committed citizens until July 8th. At the latest afterwards, a comprehensive program of measures is set up, which will include standards such as minimum widths for bike tracks and the barrier -free design of footpaths.
