World record in Herrenberg: Become part of the biggest living wind turbine!

In Herrenberg something happens: On June 29, 2025 at 3 p.m., the region tries to break a world record. The aim is to form the "largest lively wind turbine in the world" by forming several hundred people together a dynamic wind turbine silhouette. A test run on the Herrenberg Festwiese took place in advance, in which almost 30 participants rehearsed the implementation of the idea. A system of ropes was developed that ensures the optimal shape and distances of the "rotor blades". As the organizers emphasize, the Herrenberger wind turbine should not be static. The participants will be in motion and thus simulate a real rotor. A little choreography will also be necessary to facilitate the passage between the groups and to ensure a smooth process.
