Leonberg starts monthly consultation for inclusion - participate now!
Leonberg, Deutschland - in Leonberg it goes round: From this month, the city starts a monthly consultation hour that deals with the important topics related to inclusion. The aim is to discuss concerns, ideas and existing barriers for equal cooperation. According to the motto "Together it is better", the consultation hour will offer a platform to actively participate in inclusion in the city. As the Stuttgarter Nachrichten reports on June 30th in the new town hall, room 01.19, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. and is scheduled for six months, an extension is conceivable.
The consultation hour is supervised by the volunteer municipal inclusion broker Elisabeth Kolophon and the integration officer Wiebke Hebold. The planned consultation hour is only part of the larger inclusion program. There are already numerous leisure activities in the old district of Leonberg, which are open to both people with and without disabilities. The offer ranges from recreational sports at SV-Leonberg-Eltingen to inclusive cultural offers such as the choir of Lebenshilfe and a theater group called "Alledabei". The leisure activities are designed to ensure that everyone can participate - and an open invitation to sniff is fixed everywhere. The Leo-ni Initiative emphasizes how important it is to create accessibility in leisure activities.
The regular appointments for different sports are easy to remember: leisure sports take place every Friday from 5:15 p.m. to 6:15 p.m., while table tennis is on the program twice a month from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. If you love the stage, you can rehearse on Wednesdays from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the inclusive choir or get involved in the theater group "Alledabei" on Tuesdays from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. - even if here is currently only waiting for interested parties for the next piece. The new initiatives in Leonberg are not alone. The Social agency in concrete terms also shows alternatives that go beyond local offers. Including leisure activities are diverse and include sport, cultural activities as well as educational and learning opportunities. Interested parties can find out about sports and exercise in inclusive sports clubs or about creative leisure activities such as art workshops and integrative concerts.
The overarching goal always remains the same: to enable active and self -determined participation in society. It is therefore crucial that everyone gets the chance to get involved and share their ideas - this is exactly what the new consultation hour in Leonberg offers.
