Gerlinger Squash talent Chiara Lang: a second place and high school exams!

In the past few weeks there was a lot going on in the squash world, especially for 17-year-old Chiara Lang from Gerlingen. The young athlete, who not only has a lot to offer on the pitch, but also soon has her high school diploma in her pocket, showed up in challenging competitions.

Chiara took part in the U19 European Championships in Prague and the German Youth Industry Championships in Nuremberg. Both events took place in April and May 2025. While she was dissatisfied with her performance at the European Championship and could not meet her expectations, she won second place at the championships in Nuremberg and was more than satisfied with it. The European Championships in Prague were a hard nut for the talented squash player. There Chiara had difficulty calling up her full potential, which was a bitter disappointment for her. For Chiara it was an intensive time that made it possible for her to learn a lot about herself. While so much was on the table at the same time, she still kept a cool head and made the best out of the Situation.
