Böblinger schooling days: 1700 children rock the European hall!
Böblingen, Deutschland - In Böblingen, the school's days are at the door - a joyful event that inspires children and parents alike. On July 15th and 16th, 2025 it is again called "Singing All together!" in the European Congress Hall. On these two days, a total of 1700 primary school children from seven schools present their musical skills that they learned during the school year. They are accompanied by the Hanke Brothers, who have already been awarded the Opus Classic. The concerts begin from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and admission is free, with free tickets available in the secretariat of the Böblingen music and art school. Organizers and sponsors are particularly pleased about the support of the Lechler Foundation, the Bürgerstiftung Böblingen and the LBBW Foundation, which contribute significantly to carry out this event.
A highlight of the school's days is not only the musical performance, but also the opportunity for children, their self -confidence and their social skills to strengthen. These goals are also central to the "Sing break BB" initiative, which has been active at Böblingen schools since its foundation in 2018. Under the patronage of Mayor Dr. Stefan Belz equips the initiative to the children instruments to bring them closer to the joy of singing. The use of the Ward method for grade placement makes a valuable contribution to musical education and promoted the sense of community.
The concept "Singbreak BB"
The "Singbreak BB" has made a name for itself in Böblingen by interrupting regular lessons through 20-minute singing units with trained teachers in 37 classes. The initiative thus reaches all children of the schools involved and not only promotes musicality, but also emotional and social skills. This includes self -confidence, listening, class community as well as language support and ability to concentrate. With the financial support of € 10,000 from the Social Foundation Kreissparkasse Böblingen, the initiative even won the music school award in 2023.
music and education as a connection
The commitment in Böblingen is part of a larger program to promote music projects for children and adolescents. This is about creating equal opportunities and developing potential in the long term. Over 100,000 choirs, orchestras, music clubs and ensembles in Germany offer access to music and strengthen not only personality development, but also social interaction. The programs and partners, such as the Bundesmusikverband Chor & Orchester e.V. and the Association of German Music Schools e.V., show how important cultural education is and that motivated specialists for music education are essential. Singing is broadly promoted by various initiatives and lets the children experience and shape the world of music together.
In summary, it can be said that the schooling days in Böblingen are more than just a concert - they are a sign of the valuable importance of music formation in society and promote the cohesion of the community. Because what could be nicer than when children are on stage with joy and pride to present their musical skills? A high on the initiative and its supporters!
