Ulm, Deutschland - In the coming days, the botanical garden of the University of Ulm will become the setting for a very special event. From June 14th to 22nd, 2025, the nationwide bioblitz will take place here, a large -scale project by the Botanical Gardens Association. The aim of these initiatives is to record wild plants and animals in the botanical gardens in Germany, and Ulm is also actively involved. He currently occupies second place in Europe with regard to the number of observations and is only exceeded by Frankfurt among the botanical gardens. Since 2020, over 1100 wild species have been documented on the Intatform platform. The organizers are optimistic that the garden can rise in the top ten gardens in German -speaking countries by participating in the bioblitz, which is an ambitious goal.
