FV Bad Schussenried is strengthening: talents and returnees for the state league!

FV Bad Schussenried is facing an exciting new season. With a breath of fresh air in the squad, the club wants to get started in the national league, and the signs could hardly be better. Patrick Baur, the sports director, is optimistic and emphasizes that the squad is both broad and balanced. “The importance of the squad for the coming season should not be underestimated, our goal is to stay in the league,” said Baur. Training begins on Friday and the players are ready to give it their all.

An important piece of the puzzle in the squad is 18-year-old Noah Gebhart, who is moving from the A-youth team of SC Pfullendorf to Bad Schussenried. Gebhart knew how to impress in the trial training and also had other offers on the table. “It can be used flexibly defensively and could also be tried out in attack,” adds Baur enthusiastically. With this new addition, the club wants to strengthen not only the defense but also the offense.

Experienced actors and young talent

FV Bad Schussenried can look forward to another new addition: goalkeeper Tom Jaufmann returns after a successful time with the A district league team SV Renhardsweiler. The keeper, who comes from his own youth, impressed as a regular player there and is now set to succeed Florian Harsch. In addition, the young talents Elia Borgenheimer, Samuel Zinser and Marcel Storm from the A youth team are moving up to the first team. All three already have experience from the district league, which further invigorates the team.

The youth players bring a breath of fresh air into the game and should help to master the challenges of the state league. Borgenheimer is used defensively, while Zinser and Storm are more offensively oriented. “Such talented young players proved last season that they are ready for the higher demands,” explains Baur.

A peat festival in spring

Last season, FV Bad Schussenried achieved a special performance not only in the league, but also in the friendly against SF Hundersingen. In the thrilling 7:6 victory, the Schussenried team showed a remarkable performance. The goals were scored every minute and created a real spectacle - it remained exciting until the end. This dynamic could bode well for the new season.

The spectators could look forward to a varied game in which Nico Junker shone with three goals and Patrick Baur with two goals. The team proved that they can keep their heads up even in difficult phases and are ready to fight until the last minute.

While FV Bad Schussenried is preparing for the challenges ahead, the region is looking forward to the upcoming games with excitement. The anticipation is palpable - hopefully the spectators will be as enthusiastic as the players themselves. The foundation for a successful season has been laid, now it's time to build on it further.

With a mix of experienced players and fresh talent, FV Bad Schussenried is ready to start the season in the state league. The first step towards this is taken at the start of training – and everyone hopes that success will follow.
