Laupheim, Deutschland - On June 19, 2025, Heuneburg invites you to a special special tour, which is entirely devoted to beer. From 1.30 p.m., interested parties can dive into the fascinating world of this millennia -old drink. The event is part of the ongoing special exhibition "Beer - A Made of Cult drink", which has opened its doors until November 2. Here visitors get exciting insights into the history of beer, especially into its importance for the Celts.

But what do we actually know about the origins of this popular drink? Initial indications of beer go back to 10,000 years. Archaeological finds show that the first brewing attempts took place in different cultures in various cultures, including in the front Orient and in China. The brewing skills of the Celts were impressive. The mash was heated in boilers with impressive 500 liters of capacity under the use of fire and hot stones. With so much craftsmanship and effort, it is no wonder that the beer was attributed to a stimulating effect that was used not only for warfare, but also on solemn occasions.
