Weinheim, Deutschland - Today, the celebrations in the Weinheimer medicinal herb garden are in full swing. An occasion that is of great importance not only for the garden, but for the entire city of Weinheim: the medicinal herb garden celebrates its 30th anniversary. In bright weather, numerous guests came to celebrate the anniversary together. And there was a lot to experience! 

Mayor Manuel Just did not miss the opportunity to praise the small paradise in the city. The garden, which has changed over the past three decades, remains an important meeting point for both the citizens: inside and for many tourists: inside. This special opportunity was duly celebrated with around 100 guests, including former mayors and honorary citizens Uwe Kleefoot. Astrid Eichelroth, who has been leading the garden with a lot of commitment for years, emphasized the central role of respectful use of nature.

The Weinheimer Heilkrädgarten is actually an oasis for many, as Eichelroth itself says. It not only offers a variety of medicinal plants, but also a room for encounters and exchange. With tours led by Eichelroth and musically by Dr. Torsten Fetzner were accompanied, the visitors were able to experience the diversity of the plants on offer. The new information brochure, which has appeared for the anniversary, is also intended to help expand the knowledge of the healing powers of the plants. This brochure is available for a fell omination fee of four euros and can be found in the Weinheim book trade.

The idea of ​​using herbs and plants for healing is not a new concept; They have played an important role in the treatment of diseases since the prehistory. In many botanical gardens, also in the Berlin pharmaceutical plant garden, visitors can discover the fascinating world of medicinal plants inside. A big plus of the medicinal herb garden is its civic engagement. The minimum financing by the public sector was made possible by a strong network of volunteers and sponsors. Pharmacist Uwe Geiß in particular, who provided a donation to finance the new information brochure, is an example of the support of the local community.

The garden has established itself as indispensable for the citizens over the years and has proven itself as a place of calm and inspiration. With its diverse flora and regular events, he not only remains a popular place of excursion, but also a source of knowledge and encounters for young and old.
