Rock am See in Hilsbach: A festival of return after 16 years!

After a 16 -year break, the legendary music festival "Rock am See" will finally go into the next round on Friday, July 18, 2025. The revival takes place on the sports area of SV Hilsbach on the idyllic Waldsee. "We are very happy that we can revive this long -established event again," said Manfred Hermann, one of the organizers. The return is not only a tribute to the past, but also an occasion to celebrate the 100th anniversary of SV Hilsbach. In addition, Hilsbach was appointed Rock City by "Rock FM"-a title that was won with 58 percent of the vote in a vote and which arouses even more anticipation for the festival in the region.

The story of "Rock am See" goes back to 1993 when the event was launched by committed members of the sports club, including personalities such as Bernhard Keller and Harald Gruber. The festival took place regularly until the 17th edition in 2016 before it was discontinued due to several rainy days. Nevertheless, the memory of the times when up to 1200 rock enthusiasts populated the site remained alive.

This year, visitors will be spoiled with a varied music program. It starts with the local band "All in", consisting of three talented musicians, among them a singer and a drummer. The eight musicians of the main band "Boegt", who cover a wide range of rock genres, are highlighting the evening, including Classic Rock, Blues, Hard Rock, Old School Rock and Heavy Metal.

The admission begins at 7 p.m. and the admission price is ten euros per person. The physical well -being is also taken care of: SV Hilsbach offers a selection of food and cold drinks, so that there is also nothing to be desired. And for those who want to treat themselves to something special, "Pink Pain Tattoo" is ready to offer tattoos and piercings on site.

"Rock am See" is not only a return to an estimated tradition, but also a new beginning. The festival will undoubtedly offer a platform on which local music culture can develop.
