Magic castle parking serenade: music, fireworks and Midsommar celebration!

The Stadtkapelle Wiesloch, under the direction of Harald Weber, opens the evening with symphonic brass music at 7 p.m. At 9:00 p.m., the young Philharmonie Rhein-Neckar under Andreas Treibel will present the sounds of great Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, followed by a colorful fireworks that is ignited according to the symphonies.

Culinary experience in the Schlosspark

So that the culinary delights are not neglected, regional restaurateurs and winemakers have come together to provide a wide range of food and drinks. You can look forward to a selection of local delicacies. The band Easy Blue will provide "Late Night Music" for everyone who wants to take it a little more relaxed at 11 p.m.

But that's not all that Angelbachtal has to offer: From 2 p.m. there will also be a Midsommarfest from 2 p.m. this year, organized by the German-Swedish Society Heidelberg. Admission is free, with the guests being asked to bring flowers for the traditional Midsommarbaum, a picnic basket and a blanket. This creates a cozy and festive ambience for young and old.

The revival of the castle parking serenade comes after a break, during which the event had to be canceled in 2020 due to the Corona pandemic. At that time, the Rhein-Neckar district and the cultural foundation had stopped all planned cultural events until mid-June. The castle parking serenade was also affected and it was regretted that the open-air event could not take place.
