Future of Karlsruher Straße: Workshop on the pedestrian zone on July 16!

In the city of Hockenheim, the signs are on change! On Wednesday, July 16, 2025, the city administration invites you to a fascinating workshop on the first floor of the tithe barn. From 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., all interested citizens, residents and traders are cordially invited to bring their ideas to the redesign of Karlsruher Straße. The aim of the workshop is to make the city center a popular attraction for the Hockenheimer and to increase the attractiveness of the road. The moderation takes over the USP Projekte GmbH, which is already immersed in the topic.

This workshop completes a number of campaign weeks in May, during which Karlsruher Straße was temporarily converted into a pedestrian zone. Participants were able to gain the first impressions of this new cityscape and now bring in these experiences. The focus on the experiences and reflections on temporary redesign are in the focus, as are the presentation of the previous results.
