Great success: Mosbach's book flea market brings new technology for DLRG!

A successful book flea market in Mosbach ensured great joy at the end of April. The event, which took place on April 23, 2023 in the dance sports center, attracted numerous visitors. Around 20,000 books were for sale - from current novels to non -fiction to exciting thrillers, for which a price of only 3 euros per kilogram was requested. The fragrance of freshly brewed coffee and delicious cake also ensured that visitors liked to go to the event and took one or two books home. The DLRG Mosbach benefits the proceeds from the flea market, especially for swimming training and water emergency services, the city of Mosbach informs on its website.

The high number of visitors was particularly gratifying, which made it possible for the DLRG Mosbach to use the funds for the procurement of five new digital radio devices. This is particularly important because the organization has to change to the digital radio standard for authorities and organizations with security tasks (BOS).
